New Music Gathering 2017 will be held at the
Bowling Green State University
in Bowling Green, Ohio
“The College of Musical Arts at Bowling Green State University is proud to host the 2017 New Music Gathering,” says Kurt Doles, director of the MidAmerican Center of Contemporary Music at BGSU. “For over 35 years, Bowling Green has been a hotbed of new music activity; contemporary music is part of our DNA and part of the musical and educational lives of all our students and faculty!”
Located in Bowling Green, Ohio, Bowling Green State University’s College of Musical Arts has earned a reputation as one of the country’s outstanding collegiate music programs. The college provides training for students pursuing professional and teaching degrees in music. Its graduates
hold appointments in a multitude of colleges and universities, private and public schools, as well as successful and fulfilling careers as professional musicians, composers, arts administrators and private studio teachers.
